Technology brief
is a mobile water-purification service for swimming pools — a cost- and water-saving alternative to full water replacement.
The challenge
Primary use cases: private residential pools; hotels and resorts; drought-affected or water-restricted areas; municipalities with water-saving rules.
Industries and users: pool-service operators, hospitality, municipal utilities.
Scale: mobile per-pool service (truck + storage tank); fleet-scalable across a region.
ARBOK solution
ARBOK-POOL RENEWAL is a mobile water-purification service for swimming pools — a cost- and water-saving alternative to full water replacement. Instead of draining and refilling (expensive and, in drought regions, legally restricted), it purifies the existing water on-site by cold vacuum evaporation, with no chemicals or filters. One mobile unit processes a private pool in ~10 hours, removing ammonia, pathogens, boron, deuterium, and organics, and extends water life to once every 2–3 years instead of annual replacement.
Pool water is processed by cold vacuum evaporation: under vacuum, water evaporates at low temperature and is recondensed clean, while ammonia, pathogens, organics, boron, and deuterium are left behind and removed. No chlorine, no consumables, no discharge to sewer.
Limitations: batch service per pool; requires unit access to the site; throughput set by unit count.
Market and application
Large installed base of private and commercial pools in water-stressed regions (Mediterranean, Middle East, US Southwest, Australia). Drivers: drought regulation, refill bans, rising water prices, hospitality water-footprint pressure.
Per-service revenue ~$1 500 vs ~$3 000 freshwater-delivery alternative; OPEX driven by ~1–1.5 kWh/ton energy. Fleet model: revenue scales with units and service density. (Fleet CAPEX/payback to be modelled.)

Industries and users: pool-service operators, hospitality, municipal utilities.
Scale: mobile per-pool service (truck + storage tank); fleet-scalable across a region.
Steps: dispatch unit → connect → ~10 h purification cycle → water returned. Mobile, ambient operation, single operator per unit.
Works with existing pools without modification; no connection to municipal water/sewer needed; complements standard pool filtration.

Method: cold vacuum evaporation (no consumables/chemicals).
Processing time: ~10 hours per pool (avg. 70–80 t / 18 500–21 000 gallons).
Energy: ~1–1.5 kWh per ton.
Output: drinking-grade water, ammonia-free, pathogen-free.
Water retention post-cleaning: 2–3 years depending on usage.
Setup: two mobile units — purification truck + storage tank; no city water or sewer connection required.
Emissions/noise: minimal; zero discharge.
Mobile vacuum-evaporation unit (truck-mounted); condensation/clean-water collection; storage tank unit; control/automation. Self-contained — no fixed infrastructure.
Technical: removes contaminants chlorine cannot (ammonia, boron, deuterium, pathogens) without chemicals or filters.
Economic: ~$1 500 per service vs ~$3 000 for freshwater delivery; eliminates annual refills.
Environmental: zero discharge to sewer, no chemical load, large freshwater savings.
Strategic: keeps pools legal and operational under drought/water-restriction regimes.
Works with existing pools without modification; no connection to municipal water/sewer needed; complements standard pool filtration.
Steps: dispatch unit → connect → ~10 h purification cycle → water returned. Mobile, ambient operation, single operator per unit.
Proposed TRL 5 — ⚠ confirm. The note claims TRL 9 ("full-scale mobile units in use"); to assert 8–9 honestly we need verifiable deployment evidence (units, sites, service records). Until then a conservative TRL 5 (validated working unit) is the defensible claim. Confirm actual field status.

Service logistics (site access, scheduling); seasonal demand; conservative pool operators; need to verify and document field-deployment claims for credibility.
