Arbok-Termite

Arbok-Termite converts hazardous phosphate-industry waste into a highly selective, environmentally safe insecticide against termites and ants.

Overview

Arbok-Termite converts hazardous phosphate-industry waste into a highly selective, environmentally safe insecticide against termites and ants. Cold vacuum evaporation repurposes acidic byproducts into a stable, concentrated acid blend optimized for insecticidal use — turning a disposal cost into a marketable product.

The selectivity is the point: the agent eliminates termites and ants within 6 hours, with complete colony inactivity inside 24 hours, while having zero impact on pollinators, birds, reptiles or plants. The acids neutralize naturally in soil, forming water and inert salts, so there is no long-term toxicity build-up.

Applications

Eco-insecticide deployment: residential and commercial pest control; agricultural termite management; use near crops, gardens and ecosystems where broad-spectrum insecticides are unacceptable.

Waste valorization: converts hazardous phosphate waste into a regulated pest-control product and reduces disposal costs for phosphate producers.

Infrastructure protection: prevents termite damage to wooden structures and root systems; safe in biodiversity-rich zones.

Operating Principle

The process feeds on an acid blend recovered from phosphate-industry acid waste — a hazardous byproduct stream generated by phosphate fertilizer and phosphogypsum production, dominated by water together with a mixture of the mineral acids native to that waste stream. Under deep vacuum, the mixture is cold-boiled: water is drawn off at ambient temperature without any external heat input, progressively concentrating the acid fraction. The result is a stable, concentrated acid blend optimized specifically for insecticidal application. No reagents, filters or additives are required at any stage — the transformation is purely physical (evaporative concentration), not a chemical synthesis, which is what keeps the process simple and free of consumables. Specialized corrosion-resistant materials line the wetted path throughout, so the aggressive acid stream is handled safely without degrading equipment life.

Application in the field is by spray or direct pour onto termite and ant nests.

Architecture and Components

A vacuum cold-boiling chamber operating under deep vacuum draws off water from the incoming acid waste at ambient temperature, concentrating and stabilizing the acid fraction into the finished product; wetted parts use specialized corrosion-resistant materials suited to aggressive acid service; product is packaged as a liquid concentrate. Available in mobile or stationary configuration.

Storage: corrosion-resistant containers suited to concentrated acid service.

Advantages

Selectivity: targets only termites and ants, unlike synthetic broad-spectrum insecticides, with no effect on pollinators, birds, reptiles or plants.

Green chemistry: uses industrial waste to replace chemical pesticides; acids neutralize in soil to water and inert salts, avoiding contamination of water tables, pollinator populations and food chains.

Economic: no consumables, 2–4 kWh per tonne, straightforward processing; converts a phosphate producer's disposal cost into product revenue.

Deployment: mobile or stationary production; liquid concentrate suitable for standard distribution.

Validation: confirmed by field testing and laboratory trials, with third-party SGS certification for both efficacy and environmental safety.

Market Potential

The commercial case rests on two converging demand pools. On the pest-control side, regulatory pressure on broad-spectrum insecticides is pushing residential, commercial and agricultural users toward selective agents that are safe to use near crops, gardens and biodiversity-rich zones — a segment where Arbok-Termite's near-total selectivity for termites and ants is a direct fit. On the supply side, phosphate fertilizer producers and phosphogypsum sites carry ongoing disposal costs for the acidic waste streams that feed this process, turning a liability into a saleable input. The dual case: pest control markets requiring selective agents in biodiversity-sensitive and agricultural settings, and phosphate producers carrying disposal costs for acidic waste streams.

Typical Project Economics

Cost drivers stated: energy at 2–4 kWh per tonne of processed waste; no consumables; feedstock is a waste stream currently carrying a disposal cost.

Risk Factors

The product is a concentrated acid blend, which imposes handling, storage and transport requirements beyond those of conventional insecticides — corrosion-resistant containment and PPE are mandatory. Registration as a pest-control product is jurisdiction-specific and is not documented in the base. Market sizing and project economics are absent.
