Overview
Arbok-PO replaces the conventional palm oil mill with deep-vacuum thermodynamic separation. Fresh fruit bunches are ground, mixed with water and processed under deep vacuum at ambient temperature — the water evaporates and the oil separates without heat, steam, solvents or reagents.
The economics change on two axes at once. CAPEX falls 2.7 times and OPEX 33 times: $3 per tonne against $100 for a traditional plant. At the same time yield rises — 59.4 tonnes of oil per day per unit against 53 for the equivalent conventional throughput — and the oil is cleaner, with low acidity, retaining carotenes and tocopherols that thermal processing destroys.
The waste side disappears entirely: no POME wastewater, no methane, no emissions. Water is recycled and dry residue becomes bio-coal or feed.
Applications
Palm oil production: crude palm oil and palm kernel oil for food, cosmetics and biofuels.
Byproduct utilization: dry residue as bio-coal or animal feed; water reused within production.
Scalable deployment: from small farms to large plantations; five units match a traditional plant at 1,080 tonnes FFB/day.
Operating Principle
Fresh fruit bunches are ground and mixed with water, then processed under deep vacuum at ambient temperature. Under reduced pressure the water evaporates and the oil separates — without heating, which is what preserves carotenes and tocopherols and keeps acidity low.
Outputs per batch: 22 % crude palm oil, 5.5 % palm kernel oil, clean water and dry residue.
The process handles FFB without pre-separation. It uses no steam, no solvents and no reagents. Operation is fully automated with sensors for pressure, temperature and level, running 24/7 with maintenance limited to pump checks and residue unloading. One operator per unit.

Architecture and Components
Vertical 20-foot tank occupying 20 m²; grinding stage for fresh fruit bunches; water mixing; deep-vacuum separation chamber operating at ambient temperature; oil fraction collection for CPO and PKO; water recycling circuit; dry residue discharge. Full automation with pressure, temperature and level sensors.
Modular: units operate standalone or integrate into existing mills; five units replace a conventional plant.
Advantages
Product: higher yield — 59.4 t/day against 53; cleaner oil with low acidity; carotenes and tocopherols retained because there is no thermal stage.
Economic: CAPEX 2.7× lower, OPEX 33× lower; $50–100 per tonne of waste disposal cost eliminated; one operator per unit.
Process: 5 kWh/t against 15–20; no steam, solvents or reagents; FFB processed without pre-separation; 24/7 automated operation with maintenance limited to pump checks and residue unloading.
Environmental: zero emissions; no POME, which is the principal environmental liability of conventional palm milling; no methane; water recycled; residue converted to bio-coal or feed.
Logistics: 20 m² footprint enables on-site processing at the plantation, cutting transport of bulky fresh fruit bunches.
Integrations

Integrates into existing mills or operates standalone. Dry residue feeds the bio-coal and feed lines; recovered water returns to production.
Deployment & Operation
Deployment: standalone compact units at the plantation, or integration into an existing mill. Scaling by unit count — five units for 1,080 tonnes FFB/day.
Operation: fully automated, 24/7, one operator per unit. Maintenance limited to pump checks and residue unloading.
Commercial model: BOT over 15 years quoted for the five-unit configuration; also available for projects, licensing or partnership.

Market Potential
[требует уточнения из базы]
The case rests on displacing the conventional palm mill on capital cost, operating cost, yield, product quality and environmental liability simultaneously — with POME elimination alone removing the sector's most contested waste stream.
Typical Project Economics
| Item | Arbok-PO | Traditional |
|—|—|—|
| CAPEX, 1,080 t FFB/day capacity | $15 million (five units, BOT 15 years) | $40 million |
| CAPEX per tonne FFB/day | $13,889 | $37,000 |
| OPEX | $3/tonne | $100/tonne |
| Daily oil output | 297 tonnes | 237.6 tonnes |
| Waste disposal cost | eliminated | $50–100/tonne |
Cost advantage: CAPEX 2.7× lower, OPEX 33× lower. Revenue advantage from higher oil yield plus byproduct value.
Risk Factors

The source records industrial trial validation and food certification but does not identify the certifying body or jurisdiction. Palm oil is subject to sustainability certification regimes — RSPO and equivalents — and market access depends on them; the base does not address this. Yield and cost figures come from a single source with no independent verification recorded.
